2 tbsp oil ½ tsp mustard seeds ½ tsp urad dal ½ tsp chana dal 2 tbsp peanuts 1 sprig curry leaves 1 Dried red chilli 2 cup cooked rice 2 tbsp puliyogare powder Salt
Heat a deep-bottomed pan, as it heats add oil, mustard seeds. As the mustard seeds begin to splutter add chana dal, urad dal, peanuts, and roast well.
Add dried red chilli and curry leaves and fry well. Add puliyogare powder and mix well.
Now add cooked rice and mix well. You can switch off the flame and mix the rice with puliyogare masala with your hands.
Add salt if needed and mix well. Enjoy the tangy puliyogare rice with raita or plain curd.
