Neer Dosa, literally meaning water dosa in Tulu, is a delicacy from Tulu Nadu in Karnataka. This dosa is easy to prepare is naturally gluten-free by nature, and does not require any fermentation.

Ingredients

1 cup raw rice 2 cups water (adjusted according to batter consistency) Oil or ghee for greasing the pan Salt to taste

Step 1

Wash the rice 2-3 times thoroughly and soak it in water for 3-4 hours.

Step 2

Drain water and grind it to form a smooth paste with a thin, watery consistency.

Coarse salt in a bowl on table .

Step 3

Add salt to taste and mix it well.

Step 4

Pour the batter into a hot pan and cook for 1-2 minutes without flipping.

Gently lift and serve it with your favourite South Indian chutneys.
