Roasted Moong Dal Namkeen For Your New Year Party

Ingredients:

2 cups Yellow moong dal 1 tbsp oil 1 tsp salt 1 pinch turmeric powder 1 tsp red chili powder

Moong,Daal,Or,Mung,Dal,Or,Green,Gram,Or,Maash.

Step 1

Rinse moong dal thoroughly, soak the dal for 4 - 5 hours. Drain water completely from the soaked dal with a fine mesh strainer.

Step 2

Spread the dal on kitchen towel, pat them dry completely. Add salt, oil, turmeric powder to the dal and mix well.

Step 3

Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line the baking sheet with a parchment paper. Spread the moong dal on a parchment paper in single layer

Step 4

Bake in a pre-heated 400 degrees Fahrenheit oven for 20 - 30 minutes until the dal is crunchy. With a spoon, keep mixing the dal at regular 5 minutes interval.

Add red chilli powder, mix well. Allow moong dal to cool, serve in air-tight container.
