Chilli tofu is a popular Indo-Chinese dish, combining crispy tofu with a spicy, tangy sauce. It's easy to make at home and perfect for those who love bold flavours. Here's how to make it.
Cut firm tofu into cubes, coat lightly with cornflour, and shallow fry until golden and crispy. Set aside.
In a pan, heat oil and sauté chopped garlic, onions, and bell peppers until softened.
Add soy sauce, chilli sauce, and vinegar to the vegetables, stirring well.
Add the fried tofu to the pan and coat evenly with the sauce.
Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot with rice or noodles.
