Rajasthani gatte ki sabzi is among the most delicious gravies you can prepare ahead of time. Its recipe is quite simple, and you can store gatte for weeks in your refrigerator. Here is a quick guide for you.

Ingredients

3 cups besan Salt to taste 1 tsp carom seeds 1 tsp cumin seeds ½ tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chilli powder ¼ tsp pepper powder 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves 1-2 tbsp mustard oil 1 tbsp curd

Step 1

Take a bowl and pass the besan through a sieve to ensure there are no lumps in it.

Step 2

Add spices on the top and mix the ingredients. Add curd and start kneading the dough.

Step 3

Add some water to bind the ingredients. Once half done, add oil and knead again.

Step 4

The dough should be soft. Keep it aside for 10 minutes. Make dough balls and roll them into cylinders.

Step 5

Boil these cylinders until blisters appear on the surface. Keep them aside to cool off.

Step 6

Cut medium-size discs, shallow fry them on medium heat until golden brown, and store in an airtight jar.
