How To Make Quick And Easy Masala Idli

Idlis are our all time favourite. They can be eaten with chutney and sambar. Idlis are rich protein, dietary fibre, iron and carbohydrates. Thus, having idli is beneficial to our health. To make a little innovative, we can make quick masala idli as our evening snacks Take a look on how to make it: 

Ingredients

8-10 idlis Onions Tomato Green Chilli ¼ tsp turmeric powder ½ tsp red chilli powder ¼ tsp cumin seeds 2 tbsp oil 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves 

Step 1

Cut idlis into small pieces and keep them aside. 

Step 2

Heat oil in a kadhai. Add some cumin seeds. Let them splutter 

Step 3

Add onions and green chilli. Saute them till the onions become transluscent 

Step 4

Add the chopped tomatoes. Cook until they become soft. 

Step 5

Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt. Cook till the oil ssperates. 

Step 6

Add the chopped idlis to the kadhai. Mix them with the masala. Cook for 2-3 mins until the idlis are coated well in the masalas. 

Step 7

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot
