Pyaz ka paratha is a flavourful and satisfying Indian flatbread stuffed with spiced onions, perfect for a quick and filling breakfast that keeps you energised throughout the day.
1 cup whole wheat flour 1 large onion, finely chopped 1-2 green chillies, finely chopped 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp garam masala Salt to taste Fresh coriander leaves, chopped Oil or ghee for cooking
In a bowl, mix chopped onions, green chillies, cumin seeds, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, and fresh coriander leaves. Prepare a soft dough by kneading whole wheat flour with water. Divide into equal balls.
Roll each ball into a small circle, place a spoonful of onion mixture in the centre, and fold the dough over it. Roll the stuffed dough into a flat paratha.
Cook the paratha on a hot tawa with oil or ghee until golden brown on both sides. Serve hot with dahi or pickle.
