How To Make Protein-Rich Soya Sandwich For A Snack

Are you a sandwich lover? If yes, then try this soya sandwich which is rich in protein. Soya sandwich is not only simple and easy to make, but also tastes delicious. This sandwich has a nutritious soya stuffing which keeps you fuller for longer. Besides, you can carry this sandwich to your workplace as a healthy tiffin. Here’s how to make this sandwich:

Ingredients

6-8 slices of wheat bread 1 cup soya granules ¼ cup carrots ¼ cup mixed bell peppers ¼ cup onions ¼ cup green onions 1 green chilli 4 tbsp ketchup ¼ tsp black pepper ¼ tsp oregano Salt to taste 2-3 tsp olive oil 

Step 1

In boiling water, add the soya granules and boil again. Once done, strain and keep the soya granules aside. 

Step 2

Chop the vegetables and set them aside. 

Step 3

Heat oil in a pan. Add green chillies, veggies, oregano, soya granules, salt and pepper. Mix well and cover and cook for 3-5 minutes. 

Step 4

Apply ketchup on the bread slices, spread the mixture on each bread slice and cover with another bread slice. 

Step 5

Heat a tawa and brush some oil. Toast the sandwich evenly on both sides. 

Step 6

Your soya sandwich is ready to be served. Serve it with green chutney or ketchup.
