Easy to whip up and easy to serve, snacks made with breadcrumbs are not only delicious but are prepared in minutes. While store-bought breadcrumbs might be convenient, homemade breadcrumbs are way better in terms of freshness, ingredient control and reduced additives. Prepare perfect breadcrumbs at home with these simple steps.

Take slices of fresh bread. You can either opt for sandwich bread for saltiness or milk bread for a little sweet punch.

Place them on a baking tray one by one on the sides of each other. Do not stack up slices on top of each other.

Preheat the oven to 200°C for a few minutes, then transfer the tray into the preheated oven.

Bake the slices of bread for 15 minutes until they become crispy and toasty.

After that, take out the bread, let it cool for some time and crumble it to a coarse powder.

Season it however you like before using or store it in an air-tight container in the refrigerator.
