During the summer, food products, especially dairy, tend to go bad quickly. Instead of purchasing curd, paneer, khoya, etc, from the market, you can make these items at home. This is a short guide to learn how to make paneer in under 30 minutes.
2 litre of milk 2 tbsp lemon juice ¼ tsp salt 2 cups water
Heat milk in a heavy-bottomed pan. Let it come to a boil.
Add lemon juice to the milk, and let it sit for 5 minutes.
The milk will start curdling. Allow the blend to cool off.
Strain the blend to catch milk solids in a strainer.
Wash with cold water to get rid of sourness. Add salt.
Set the milk solids for 20 minutes. Paneer is ready.
