There is nothing more comfortable than a bowl of creamy oatmeal for breakfast. Oatmeal is a healthy, filling, and simple dish that is loaded with essential nutrients to begin your day with. You can make the dish sweet and load it with nuts and seeds. Here is how you can make oatmeal with milk:
½ cup rolled oats ½ cup water 1 cup milk Sugar as per taste Trail Mix for garnish
Bring water to boil and stir in rolled oats.
Let it cook on medium-high heat for 1 to 2 minutes. Oats will instantly soak up the water and soften.
Pour 1 cup milk and mix and bring it to boil on medium-high heat. Turn down the heat and simmer until thick and creamy. Turn off the heat while it is still runny as the oatmeal thickens upon cooling.
Add the sugar while the oatmeal is still hot. Add trail mix as a garnish on top.
