How To make Mutton Paya Soup At Home

This healthy soup is rich in nutrients and minerals that are beneficial for building immunity.

Ingredients

6 mutton paya, 1 onion (finely chopped), 2 tbsp ginger, 1 tbsp garlic, 2 bay leaves, 1 tsp whole pepper, 4 cloves, 2 black cardamoms, 2 stick cinnamon, salt as required, 2 lemon's juice, 1 tbsp coriander, 1 tsp crushed pepper

Step 1

Put paya pieces, onion, ginger, garlic, whole garam masala and salt in a pressure cooker. Add 4-5 cups water and close the cooker lid.

Step 2

Cook it on very slow flame for 1 hour or until the meat starts leaving the bone. Adjust the consistency of the soup.

Step 3

Now remove the pieces and strain the soup, discard the spices. Add back the paya pieces. Simmer for few minutes.

Step 4

Add lemon juice, some crushed pepper and adjust the seasoning. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve.
