Going to the bar for a classic margarita may not always be convenient. Here's an easy-to-follow recipe to help you make this drink at home.
1 tbsp kosher salt 1½ ounces tequila 1 ounce of Cointreau ½ ounce lime juice 1 cup ice cubes 1 lime wheel
Grab a small plate and sprinkle some salt on it. Use a damp paper towel to lightly wet the rim of your margarita glass.
Be ready with your tequila, orange brandy, and lime juice. Pour it in the same order into your cocktail shaker.
Use a strainer to strain your drink into the glass. Bedeck a slice of lemon on top of the rim of the margarita glass.
Quality liqueur determines the superiority of your margarita. Pick a premium brand like blanco or reposado tequila for the most incredible results.
If you want to make the margarita sweeter, adding 2 tablespoons of simple syrup should do the trick.
If you want a flavorful margarita, add apple, watermelon, or strawberry to your mix and blend it.
