Korean garlic bread is a street food version of the classic bread with a sweet and savoury flavour. It’s soft, buttery and filled with a creamy garlic and cream cheese mix. Here is how you can make this bread at home with an Indian twist.
4 burger buns or pav 4 tbsp butter 2 cloves garlic Fresh coriander leaves 100g cream cheese 1 tsp sugar 1/4 cup milk 1 egg Salt to taste Black sesame seeds
Mix melted butter, garlic, coriander and salt. Set aside. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar and milk. Add salt to taste.
Slice each bun into 6 equal parts, like a pizza, so the base remains intact.
Fill each slice gap with the cream cheese mixture. Brush the entire bun, especially the inside cuts, with the garlic butter mixture.
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Place the buns on a tray, brush with the remaining garlic butter and bake for 10-12 minutes.
Garnish with sesame seeds and enjoy warm, soft Korean garlic bread!
