Masala paneer is a spiced version of the classic Indian cottage cheese, adding a flavourful twist to your favourite dishes. Here's an easy guide to making fresh, spiced paneer at home.
Heat 1 litre of milk in a pan until it boils.
Add 2 tbsp lemon juice or vinegar and stir until the milk curdles.
Strain the curds using a muslin cloth, pressing out excess water.
Mix ½ tsp turmeric, cumin powder, and crushed coriander seeds into the curds.
Fold the cloth over the spiced paneer, press it into a square, and refrigerate for 1 hour before use.
