Aloo stuffed baati is a delicious variation of the traditional Rajasthani baati. With a crisp exterior and flavourful potato stuffing, this dish is a true crowd-pleaser for any occasion.
Mix wheat flour, salt, and ghee, and knead with water to make a soft dough. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
Mash boiled potatoes, then add cumin, coriander powder, green chillies, and salt. Sauté for a few minutes to blend the flavours.
Divide the dough into small balls, flatten them, and fill with the aloo mixture. Seal the edges and shape into round balls.
Preheat the baati tandoor or oven to 180°C, place the baatis on tandoor tray or a greased tray, and bake for 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure even browning.
