Choco Lava Cake is a sinful dessert that oozes chocolate when you cut into it, it’s a chocolate lover’s dream come true. You can make this at home with minimal ingredients and get a gooey delight.
100 grams of dark chocolate 50 grams butter 2 tsp powdered sugar ¼ cup all-purpose flour (maida) 2 eggs ¼ tsp vanilla essence 1 tsp cocoa powder A pinch of salt Butter for greasing
Preheat the oven to 200°C, grease the ramekins or muffin cups with butter and dust with cocoa powder.
Melt the chocolate and butter in the microwave or double boiler, and stir until smooth.
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, powdered sugar and vanilla essence until fluffy.
Fold the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, then flour and salt. Mix until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared ramekins, and fill each 3/4 full.
Bake it for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set but the centre is still soft.
Invert the ramekin onto a plate, let it rest for a few seconds, then remove it. Serve hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
