How To Make  Chana Dosa

The crispy chana dosa combines the goodness of black chana with its crisp texture. Packed with protein and iron, chana dosa makes for an ideal breakfast dish. 

Ingredients

2 cups Black Chickpeas (soaked for 10 hours) 1⁄2 cup Raw Rice (soak for 3 hours) 3 Dry Red Chillies 1⁄2 tsp Cumin Seeds 1 tsp Coriander Seeds 2-inch size Tamarind

Ingredients

1⁄4 tsp Turmeric Powder 1 cup Finely Chopped Onion 2 tbsp Finely Chopped Ginger 1⁄2 cup Chopped Coriander Leaves 5 tsp Ghee Salt as per taste

Step 1

Grind black chickpeas, raw rice, onion, dry red chillies, cumin seeds, coriander seed, tamarind, turmeric powder, salt with the required amount of water, into a fine batter. 

Step 2

Place the batter in a container and add water for the right consistency. Spread the batter evenly on a hot Tawa after heating it.

Step 3

Garnish chopped coriander leaves, finely minced ginger and chopped onions on top, gently press with a spatula.

Step 4

Now add 1 tsp of ghee to the top, and cook the dosa till it becomes crisp. 

Step 5

Fold/roll in the middle and serve it with spicy chutney on the side.
