How To Make Cafe Style Thick Frothy Cold Coffee

Creamy cold coffee is everyone’s favourite. Made by blending coffee, milk, sugar, and ice, coffee served in coffee shops and cafes is topped with vanilla ice cream or chocolate syrup. It's a refreshing and indulgent beverage that is a perfect treat for coffee lovers.

Ingredients

2 tsp instant coffee powder 2 tbsp sugar 1 cup chilled full cream milk ½ cup chilled water 4-5 ice cubes 1-2 scoops vanilla ice cream Chocolate syrup A pinch of cocoa powder 

Step 1

In a small bowl, mix the instant coffee powder, sugar, and 2 tablespoons of water.

Step 2

Whisk or beat this mixture using a spoon or small whisk until it becomes frothy and the sugar dissolves completely. 

Step 3

In a blender, add the coffee mixture, chilled milk, chilled water, and ice cubes.

Step 4

Blend everything on high speed for 1-2 minutes, until it becomes thick, frothy, and smooth. If you're adding ice cream, toss it in during this step for a creamier texture.

Step 5

Drizzle chocolate syrup inside a tall glass.

Step 6

Pour the blended cold coffee into the glass. Top it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a pinch of cocoa powder or grated chocolate.
