Cut the desired fruits into equal pieces. This is so that the entire batch gets cooked evenly.
Bring the cut pieces to a boil along with 3/4th the amount of sugar. Mash them together well.
Keep stirring and mashing the jam. After cooking for 20-25 mins, on medium flame you will see the big bubbles turning into tighter ones.
Take a little bit of the jam and spread on a cool surface. Run your finger through it, if there is a clear path and the jam does not fill in, it is ready.
Store the jam in a glass container after it cools down. Enjoy it with toasts, waffles and croissants.
