Curd has earned quite a bad rap in the world of fitness, given it’s a dairy product. But people often forget how tremendously loaded it is in protein and good bacteria.
Curd helps boost digestion and good digestion and bowel movement is key for weight-loss. It is also a good source of protein. Protein helps induce satiety, keeping you away from bingeing. Here’s how to eat it.
Opt for plain, unsweetened, and fat-free or low-fat curd only.
You should not consume more than servings (around 18 ounces) of low-fat, plain curd every day.
Avoid eating curd in night says Ayurveda. You should ideally have it in day hours, ideally in morning with some fresh fruits or honey.
Steet clear of flavoured curd, do not not add anything sugary to your curd. Healthiest things to add to curd are honey, nuts, fruits and cereals.
