How To Cook Zucchini Dal Uttapam For A Nutritious Breakfast

Ingredients

1 ½ cups Masoor Dal 1 zucchini 50 ml ghee/olive oil 2 boiled potatoes 1 medium onion 50 gms coriander leaves ½ tsp red chilli powder, ½ tsp cumin powder ½ tsp coriander powder ¼ tsp garam masala Salt to taste.

Step 1

Wash and soak the dal for 1-2 hours 

Step 2

Transfer it to a blender and make a fine paste

Step 3

Grate the zucchini and add salt to it; keep it aside for 15-20 mins.

Step 4

Take a bowl, add masoor dal powder, boil the potato in it, and mash it.

Step 5

Add sliced onion and chopped coriander. 

Step 6

Squeeze the excess water from the zucchini and add it to the mixture. 

Step 7

Add all the spices and mix it well. 

Step 8

Heat a tawa, oil it up and then pour the mixture into it. 

Step 9

Let it cook well on both sides and serve with green chutney.
