How To Clean Burnt Vessels: Tips And Tricks

No matter how careful you are, you can still end up burning your vessel. Good thing is that there are many easy ways to make your vessels as good as new.

Lemon

Most dishwashing soaps contain lemon as an active ingredient. Rub lemon on the burnt area, let the juice spread, leave it for some time the acid will help remove the stain.

Cola

Effective for aluminum and steel utensils only. Pour cola in the vessel, heat the vessel on low flame, toss the cola and scrub with plastic brush or soap.

Tomato Sauce

Burnt steel pots can be brightened up with tomato sauce (also acidic in nature). Apply the sauce in the burnt area, leave it overnight, scrub next day.  

Vinegar

Rub vinegar in the burnt vessel and leave it for some time. Then clean the pot with hot water and see the magic.

Salt

An effective cleansing agent, take enough salt on a scrub pad and wash the pot with your regular dish soap and the scrub. You will surely see a change.
