Jaggery tea is a warm hug in a cup, with the earthy sweetness of jaggery and the richness of tea. A healthier alternative to sugar-loaded drinks and perfect for a cosy evening. Here is how to brew a perfect cup of jaggery tea in 5 easy steps.
2 cups water 1 teaspoon tea leaves 2 teaspoons grated jaggery 1 inch piece of ginger 2-3 cardamom pods ½ cup milk
Boil water in a saucepan. Add crushed ginger and cardamom pods to the boiling water.
Let it simmer for 2 minutes. Add tea leaves to the water and let it brew for 2-3 minutes.
Stir in the grated jaggery. Add milk and boil again.
Strain the tea into cups and enjoy!
