Ginger Cardamom Tea is a fragrant, spiced Indian chai made with fresh milk, tea powder, crushed ginger, and cardamom. It’s a quick and simple way to enjoy a refreshing cup during cold days at home.
1 ½ cups fresh milk 1 tbsp crushed ginger 2 cardamom pods, crushed 2 tsp heaped tea powder Sugar, to taste (suggested 1 ¼ tsp)
Boil the milk on medium heat in a saucepan. Add the crushed ginger and cardamom to the boiling milk.
Add tea powder and reduce the heat to low.
Let the tea simmer for 5-6 minutes until it reaches your preferred colour.
Strain the tea into a cup, add sugar, and stir until dissolved.
