How About Some Kadai Paneer For Lunch

Not sure what to cook for lunch? Don’t think much and make kadai paneer. Here is the recipe.

Ingredients

For Kadai Masala: 2 tsp coriander seeds, 1 tsp cumin, ½ tsp black pepper, 3 dried Kashmiri red chilli, For Onion Tomato Paste: 2 tsp oil, 3 clove garlic, 1 inch ginger, 1 onion, 2 tomato

For Kadai Paneer Gravy: 1 tbsp butter, 1 bay leaf, 1 green chilli, 1 tsp kasuri methi, ½ onion petals, ½ capsicum cube, ¼ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder, 1 cup water, 12 cube paneer, 2 tbsp cream, ¼ tsp garam masala, 2 tbsp coriander leaves

Step 1

In a large kadai, heat butter and sauté bay leaf, green chilli, kasuri methi till they aromatic. Then add onion, capsicum turmeric and chilli powder.

Step 2

Further add blended tomato-onion paste and mix well. In addition, add prepared kadai masala and 1 tsp salt. Cook well.

Step 3

Now add water adjusting consistency as required. Then add paneer, with cream and mix gently. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 4

Furthermore, add garam masala and coriander leaves, mix well and serve with rice.
