Homemade Vegan Cream Cheese, A Dairy-Free Delight

Whip up a batch of creamy vegan cream cheese using cashews, lemon juice, and a few other ingredients.

Ingredients

1 cup raw cashews, soaked overnight and drained 2 tbsp lemon juice 2 tbsp  apple cider vinegar 2 tbsp nutritional yeast 1 tbsp white miso paste 2 tbsp refined coconut oil, melted 1/2 tsp salt 4-6 tbsp water

Step 1

Blend the soaked, drained cashews.  Add lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, nutritional yeast and miso paste.

Step 2

Now add melted coconut oil, and salt to the cashews. Blend the ingredients on high speed.

Step 3

Gradually add water, accordingly. Now Transfer the cream cheese to a container.

Step 4

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow it to firm up and develop its flavors. Once set enjoy!
