Sweet mathri is a crunchy and mildly sweet snack, perfect for festive occasions or tea time. Its golden texture and subtle sweetness make it an irresistible treat for all ages.
1 cup all-purpose flour 2 tbsp semolina ¼ cup powdered sugar 2 tbsp ghee ¼ tsp cardamom powder Oil for frying
In a bowl, mix flour, semolina, and ghee until it resembles breadcrumbs.
Add sugar, cardamom powder, and a little water to form a stiff dough.
Roll out small balls, flatten them, and prick with a fork to prevent puffing.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the mathris on low heat until golden brown. Let them cool and enjoy crispy sweet mathris.
