2 pineapples (peeled, diced, washed in salt water) 1 tsp salt 1 tsp cumin/coriander 1 tbsp chilli powder 2 tbsp pickle masala (methi masala) 2 tbsp sugar

1 cup water 1 cup vinegar 3 tbsp corn flour Mustard seeds Curry leaves Cumin seeds

Step 1

Toss diced pineapples with salt, dhanya jeeru, chilli powder, methi masala, and sugar in a dish.

Step 2

In a saucepan, boil water, vinegar, and maziena until thickened. Pour the thickened mixture over the spiced pineapples and mix well.

Step 3

Fry mustard seeds, whole jeeru, and curry leaves in a little oil until aromatic.

Step 4

Add the fried spices to the pineapple mixture and toss everything together.

Step 5

Allow the pickle to cool completely, then refrigerate before serving chilled.
