Sev Puri is a delightful, crunchy Indian street food made with crispy puris topped with spicy, tangy, and sweet chutneys, veggies, and sev. Discover how to make this mouth-watering snack in a few simple steps.
36 crispy puris (papdi) ½ to ¾ cup sev 2 to 3 boiled, chopped potatoes 1 finely chopped onion 1 finely chopped tomato (optional) 2-3 tbsp coriander leaves ⅓ to ½ cup mint-coriander chutney ⅓ to ½ cup sweet tamarind chutney ¼ to ⅓ cup red chilli chutney 1-2 tsp chaat masala 1-2 tsp roasted cumin powder ½ tsp black salt or regular salt 1-2 tsp lemon juice
Arrange the puris on a serving plate. Top each puri with chopped boiled potatoes.
Add finely chopped onions and optional tomatoes. Drizzle green chutney, red chilli chutney, and sweet chutney as desired.
Sprinkle chaat masala, cumin powder, and a pinch of salt.
Top with sev and garnish with coriander leaves and lemon juice.
Serve immediately to enjoy the perfect crunch of your homemade sev puri!
