Homemade Oreo Cheesecake: A Quick And Easy Cake For Your Sweet Cravings

Oreo cheesecake is a delectable dessert that combines two beloved treats into one irresistible indulgence. This creamy and luscious cheesecake features a velvety filling made from a blend of cream cheese, sugar, and eggs, all resting atop a crunchy Oreo cookie crust. This dessert is often garnished with a final layer of whipped cream and more crushed Oreo cookies on top making it a heavenly treat. Tap to know the recipe:

Ingredients

Oreo - 4 X ₹10 packets Melted Butter - 3 tbsp Cream Cheese - 200gms Powdered Sugar - 1/2 cup Fresh Cream - 200ml Condensed Milk - 150gms Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp Corn Starch - 2 tbsp

Step 1

Separate the Oreo biscuits and the cream. Crush the Oreo biscuits to a coarse powder.

Step 2

Take 3/4th of the crushed Oreos and add melted butter to it. Line a baking tin with baking paper. Press down the Oreo biscuit mix to the base and form a uniform later. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Step 3

Soften the cream cheese till room temperature. Add Powdered Sugar and Oreo biscuit cream. Give it a quick mix.

Step 4

Add the fresh cream in 3-4 batches and keep whisking. Add Condensed milk and crushed Oreos. Whisk till well combined.

Step 5

Finally add vanilla essence and corn flour/Starch and give it a final mix. Add the filling to the baking tin and gently tap thrice .Add crushed Oreos on top.

Step 6

In a kadhai place a elevated surface and water. Cover and bring it to a boil. Make sure the lid is almost airtight.

Step 7

Cover the cake tin with lid. Place in the kadhai and steam for 50 minutes on a high flame.

Step 8

Rest the cheesecake for 5-6 hours in a refrigerator. Slice and top with crushed Oreos and biscuits.
