Methi dosa is a delicious dosa made with rice and fenugreek. Its subtle bitterness makes it a unique breakfast option. For the best experience, serve it with coconut chutney or spicy kurma.
3 cups idli rice 3 tbsp methi (fenugreek) Water, as needed, for soaking and grinding 2 tsp salt
Soak 3 cups of idli rice and 3 tbsp of methi in water for 5 hours.
Drain the water and transfer the soaked rice and methi into a blender.
Blend the mixture into a smooth batter, adding water as required.
Ferment the batter for 8 hours or until it doubles in size.
Gently mix the batter and add 2 tsp salt. Pour a ladleful of batter onto a hot tawa, spread gently, and cook until done.
Serve the methi dosa with chutney or kurma, and enjoy!
