Homemade Mamidi Tandra: A Step-by-Step Guide

Mamidi Tandra, also known as Aam Papad or Mango Jelly, is a delightful traditional Indian sweet made from mango puree, sugar, and spices, sun-dried to perfection.

Ingredients

3-4 Mangoes 1 tbsp Sugar 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder 1/2 tsp Ghee

Step 1

Wash and cut the mangoes, then grind them to make a puree.

Step 2

Heat a pan and transfer the mango puree into it.

Step 3

Add sugar and cardamom powder, then stir well.

Step 4

Cook until the mango pulp thickens and changes colour.

Step 5

Grease a flat plate with ghee and pour the mango pulp evenly. Let the mixture sun dry for a day.
