Making tomato ketchup is an entire process - from getting the perfect tomatoes to storing the sauce. Here are some tips that will help you make and store the perfect home made ketchup batch.
Cook the tomatoes and garlic together. It adds flavour to the sauce,
Only use fresh and tender tomatoes. That makes the sauce more flavourful.
Blend your ketchup properly. Use a soup strainer to strain the ketchup to avoid any kind of lumps.
Store your ketchup in an airtight container. It stays good for a longer time.
Always use a glass jar to store the ketchup, instead of a plastic or fibre container.
