Homemade Jaljeera Powder Recipe, Perfect For Digestion

Jaljeera powder is a tangy and refreshing spice mix that aids digestion and keeps you cool. This homemade version is not only flavourful but also free from preservatives, making it a healthy option for summer drinks. 

Ingredients

2 tbsp cumin seeds (jeera) 1 tbsp black salt 1 tbsp dried mint leaves 1 tsp fennel seeds 1 tsp black peppercorns 1 tsp dry ginger powder 1 tsp amchur (dry mango) powder 

Step 1

Dry roast cumin seeds and fennel seeds until aromatic. Let them cool. 

Step 2

Grind roasted seeds into a fine powder. Add black salt, dried mint, black peppercorns, ginger powder, and amchur powder to the mix. 

Step 3

Grind all the ingredients together to form a fine powder. 

Step 4

Store in an airtight jar and use with water and lemon for a refreshing drink.
