Fresh and seasonal guavas are now available! And while you should enjoy them as they are, you can also preserve them for later with this easy and delicious Guava Jam recipe. Check it out.
5-6 guavas 1.5 cups sugar 3 cups water 2 tbsp lemon juice ¼ tsp salt

Wash and wipe the guavas and cut them into small pieces. No need to peel the skin or deseed the guavas.

Place the chopped guavas in a large pan, then add water and boil the guavas until soft and mushy.

Mash the guavas and pass them through a sieve to remove the seeds. Transfer the sieved guavas back into the pan.

Now add sugar, lemon juice and salt. Mix well and cook for 10-15 minutes while stirring occasionally.

Take the guava jam off the heat and let it cool down completely. Transfer into sterilised mason jars and let the jam set.

Cool the jam in a cool place and enjoy whenever you want to.
