Guava is the most beloved winter fruit whose pink and pulpy core instantly wins the heart. If you want to make a perfect winter dessert with this sweet fruit, try this guava ice cream recipe which gets ready in a few steps.

3 cups fresh guava pulp (about 6-8 ripe guavas, peeled and seeds removed) 1 cup granulated sugar 2 cups heavy cream 1 cup whole milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract A pinch of salt

Wash and peel guavas, remove the seeds and cut into small chunks.

Make guava puree in a food processor and strain it with a sieve.

Whisk the pure and granulated sugar until dissolved.

Add heavy cream, whole milk, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Mix well.

Cover the bowl and chill it in the fridge for 2-3 hours.

Pour chilled mixture into the ice cream maker and churn it until soft.

Freeze the ice cream for at least 4-6 hours or until it reaches a firm and scoopable texture. Once frozen, scoop it into bowls and serve.
