Make your mornings crunchier and healthier with homemade cornflakes. This simple recipe allows you to create your own crispy cereal flakes from scratch, ensuring a delightful start to your day.
1 cup cornmeal 1 tablespoon sugar ½ teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon vegetable oil ¼ cup water
In a bowl, mix cornmeal, sugar, and salt together.
Add vegetable oil and water, then stir until the mixture forms a dough.
Roll out the dough as thinly as possible on a baking sheet.
Bake for 15-20 minutes at 175°C or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let it cool completely then crumble into flakes.
Bake again for 10-15 minutes to dry them completely, then store in an airtight container.
