1 cup fresh grated coconut 2 cups warm water
In a blender, combine shredded coconut and warm water; process until smooth.
To filter out the milk, pour the mixture through a fine sieve or muslin cloth.
For a second, thinner extract, reblend the coconut pulp with one additional cup of warm water.
