Homemade Cheese Fondue For Cosy Winter Evenings

INGREDIENTS

1.5 cups gruyere cheese 1.5 cups Swiss cheese, shredded ¼ cup mozzarella cheese 1 pinch freshly grated nutmeg 1 clove garlic 1 cup dry white wine 2 tablespoons corn starch ¼ teaspoon salt

STEP 1

Pierce the clove of garlic with a fork and rub it on the inside of the fondue pot before placing it on heat.

STEP 2

Pour in the white wine and add the corn starch to stir thoroughly without any lumps.

STEP 3

Add the nutmeg and cheeses gradually, once the wine comes to a simmer.

Continue to stir the mixture until the cheese and wine have melted homogenously into a creamy, thick consistency.
