Homemade Chatpata Aam Papad In Just 4 Simple Steps

Make your own chatpata aam papad using ripe mangoes, apples, and a dash of jaggery for a deliciously tangy treat. With its delicate texture that almost melts into the mouth, this delectable delicacy is an ideal snack. 

Ingredients

1 Large Ripe Mango 1 Small Apple, pressure cooked and cut into pieces Small Raw Mango, pressure cooked 2 tbsp Jaggery Powder 1/4 tsp Pink Salt 

Step 1

Pressure cook the apple to soften it and extract its pectin, ensuring a soft and flexible texture for the aam papad. 

Step 2

Spread the fruit pulp in a uniform layer, maintaining some body and texture. 

Step 3

Use a silicon mat or lightly greased metal tray for drying, adjusting drying time based on fruit layer thickness. 

Step 4

Sun dry the mixture for approximately 2 days or oven dry at the lowest temperature for 3 to 4 hours until dry.
