Made with care, this wholesome cereal is a great substitute for commercially available infant cereal. Your child will have the finest start to the day with this do-it-yourself alternative, which is full of healthy ingredients.
1 cup rice 1/4 cup moong dal 1/4 cup masoor dal 1 cup makhana or fox nuts 15 almonds 15 cashews
Wash the rice, moong dal, and masoor dal thoroughly, then soak overnight for optimal softness. Roast the soaked ingredients until golden brown, then allow them to cool.
Roast makhana, almonds, and cashews until fragrant and crisp. Combine all roasted ingredients and grind into a fine powder. Store the powder in an airtight container for future use.
Take 2 spoons of the powder and mix with 1 cup of water. Cook over medium flame for 5 minutes, stirring continuously until desired consistency is reached. Serve warm and watch your little one enjoy a wholesome and nourishing meal.
