Homemade Carrot Ginger Turmeric Smoothie For A Healthy Sip

Blend the vibrant flavours of carrots, ginger, and turmeric into a refreshing and nutritious smoothie. This simple recipe delivers a delicious, health-boosting drink perfect for any time of the day.

Ingredients

2 cups carrots 1 1/2 cups filtered water 1 large ripe banana (previously peeled, sliced, and frozen) 1 cup fresh pineapple 1/2 tbsp fresh ginger 1/4 tsp ground turmeric 1/2 cup carrot juice 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

Step 1

Blend carrots and filtered water on high until smooth. Strain the carrot puree using a thin dish towel over a bowl.

Step 2

Squeeze the towel to extract all the juice. Transfer the carrot juice to a mason jar for storage.

Step 3

Add smoothie ingredients to the blender and blend until creamy. Adjust the flavour by adding more banana, pineapple, lemon, ginger, or turmeric.

Step 4

Divide the smoothie into two glasses and serve immediately.
