Hing Ajwain Water: The Magical Elixir To Ease Digestion

Asafoetida (hing) and carom seeds (ajwain), are known to be helpful in issues such as stomach pain, gas, bloating, and acidity, which can affect adults and children alike. 

The anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties present in asafoetida are considered beneficial for overall health. 

On the other hand, the thymol present in ajwain helps promote digestion by releasing gastric juice in the stomach. 

Ingredients

1 glass of water 1 tsp ajwain ¼ tsp hing A pinch of black salt 

Step 1

To make hing ajwain water, add a glass of water in a pan and add ajwain to it.  

Step 2

Let it boil well and turn off the gas when it is done.  

Step 3

Now add one-fourth teaspoon of asafoetida and black salt to the water and mix well. Consume it.
