Chilla is a quick and healthy snack that can also be enjoyed as a filling breakfast. While the traditional recipes include besan, you can make it with sattu flour to make it richer in protein.
1 cup sattu flour 1 cup water 2 teaspoons oil ½ teaspoon ajwain ½ teaspoon red chilli powder ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder ⅓ cup chopped onions ⅓ cup chopped tomatoes 1 green chilli 1 teaspoon grated ginger ½ cup chopped coriander leaves Salt to taste
Take a bowl and mix sattu flour, ajwain, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and salt.
Add the chopped onions, tomatoes, green chilli, ginger, coriander leaves, and water.
Once the batter is consistent, heat a pan, pour a spoonful, and cook both sides.
Transfer the sattu chilla to a plate and serve hot.
