High-Protein Dark Chocolate Oatmeal For Breakfast Or Post-Workout Meal

This high-protein dark chocolate oatmeal is going to become your favourite since it provides you with nutrients such as protein, fibre, and carbs while also having an exceptional flavour due to the dark chocolate. It can be enjoyed as a filling breakfast or to fuel your body after an intense workout.

Ingredients

1/2 cup rolled oats 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy) 1 scoop of chocolate whey protein powder 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder Optional: 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup, dark chocolate chips, and nuts or seeds for topping

Step 1

Combine 1/2 cup rolled oats and 1 cup milk in a saucepan. Cook until creamy.

Step 2

Stir in 1 scoop of chocolate whey protein powder and 1 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder.

Step 3

Optional: Add 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup for sweetness.

Step 4

Cook for 1-2 more minutes until well combined and creamy.

Step 5

Transfer oatmeal to a bowl and top with dark chocolate chips (optional).

Optionally, add nuts or seeds for extra texture and nutrition.
