Cookies and tea is a pairing that never gets old. But let's make the affair healthier with these high-protein cookies that are also incredibly tasty and easy to prepare. Here's a recipe to try:
1 cup almond flour ½ cup whey protein powder ¼ cup melted coconut oil ¼ cup honey or maple syrup 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 egg ½ tsp baking powder ¼ tsp salt ½ cup dark chocolate chips or nuts (optional)
Warm the oven up to 175°C/350°F. Put parchment paper on one baking sheet.
Add egg, honey, vanilla, and coconut oil. Add protein powder, baking powder, salt, and almond flour and mix.
Mix together the components, wet and dry. Incorporate nuts or chocolate chips.
Place dough onto the baking sheet with a scoop. Flatten it a little.
Bake until the edges turn brown, 10 to 12 minutes. Transfer to a rack after cooling on the sheet for five minutes.
