Mahashivratri Vrat is observed by people to show their devotion to Lord Shiva. Most individuals choose to observe "Nirjala Vrat," or “Phallar” to consume fruits, milk, and other foods

1. Milk-Based Drinks And Desserts

While fasting, you can consume milk based products like thandai, badaam doodh makhane ki kheer, sabudana kheer etc.

2. Vadas and Pakodas

Using Buckwheat, Rock-salt, you can prepare flavourful Pakodas. Like of Aloo, sabudana, Raw banana, singhada.

3. Dry fruits and Fruits

These are the best for munching and reduce your hunger while fasting. You can consume all fruits you like.

4. Non Cereal Dishes

Dishes made up of tapioca pearls, buckwheat or ragi, Sabudana khichdi, sabudana pakora, sabudana vada, kuttu singhare ki puri are all permitted.

5. Potatoes are Saviour

Yes, you can have Boiled Aloo chaat, Aloo tikki, Aloo kichdi and more made up with Sendha Namak & Buckwheat.
