Healthy Vegan Cabbage Momos For A Veggie Snack Treat

Craving a scrumptious vegan snack while on your weight loss diet? This easy-peasy vegan cabbage momo recipe will satiate your cravings in no time.

Ingredients:

1 cabbage 1 cup onions, chopped 1 cup capsicum, chopped 1 cup mushroom, chopped Salt, to taste Pepper, to taste 2 tbsp oil 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp chilli sauce

Step 1

Cut off the cabbage stalk and carefully separate all the cabbage leaves. These will be the momo shell.

Step 2

Blanch the cabbage leaves in hot water for 3-4 minutes, then remove and set aside until needed.

Step 3

Heat oil in a wok and add the onions, capsicum, mushroom, salt and pepper.

Step 4

Cook until the veggies are done, then add soy sauce and chilli sauce. Mix well and set aside to cool.

Step 5

To assemble, place some of the stuffing in each cabbage leaf and fold into a parcel carefully.

Step 6

Place the cabbage momos in a steamer and steam for 5 minutes or until done.

Step 7

Serve the cabbage momos hot with a dipping sauce.
