Healthy Pepper Chicken Recipe For Fitness Freaks

Pepper chicken is a flavourful dish made with tender chicken breast, colourful bell peppers, and black pepper. It's cooked with minimal oil and packed with protein. Enjoy this nutritious meal with a side of whole grains for a balanced option.

Ingredients

500 gms boneless, chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 medium onion, thinly sliced 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced 1 green bell pepper, sliced 3 cloves of garlic, minced 1 tablespoon black pepper 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon paprika 1 teaspoon dried oreganoano

Step 1

Start by heating oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add boneless, skinless chicken breast pieces and cook until browned and cooked through.

Step 2

Sauté onions and bell pepper until tender. Add minced garlic, black pepper, salt, paprika, and dried oregano to the pan, and cook for an additional 2 minutes. 

Step 3

Return the cooked chicken to the pan and stir everything together. Let the chicken and vegetables simmer for about 5 minutes on medium-low heat. Serve hot!
